Busy-Day 4

A hummingbird is busy. His wings flap eighty times per second.

Writing a novel isn’t that intense. I work in my pajamas. I have a pretty desk. I stare into space. A lot.

But sometimes, my brain flaps like a hummingbird’s wings. It’s hard to hold on to all my thoughts before I put them on paper.

So I make lists. I outline. I draw arrows. I color. I gnash my teeth. That’s busy.
