Wednesday Check-in

I took a break from the workbook to read the entire manuscript. Working on a tiny chunk each day makes it hard to  remember the whole story. I’m happy with the book’s structure, but I saw subplots that needed expansion and characters, who could be more. When I started, this story was a romance. At the Breakout Novel Intensive, it became satire–tougher, sharper, not so precious. The beginning of the book needs editing to make it match.
