In a frenzy, I shopped, chopped, and put away a pile of vegetables. We joined a co-op. The variety is nice. The price is right, but the timing isn’t always perfect. This morning I discovered an entire bag of romaine lettuce, clean and green. I had triple-washed the leaves, stuffed them into an oversized zip-lock, and stored them in the freezer. Oh well. Wilted lettuce, anyone?
