I’m using scene cards again. This time, they’re color coded for each point of view character. The photo above is of the first four chapters. The color of the card corresponds to the comic throughline chart. You can see the mix–four POVs in this book. The card is adapted from one of Donald Maass’ assignments from Writing the Breakout Novel. It isn’t exactly an outline, but a kick-start into writing the scene.
