Six

I wrote 750 words today at an elementary school chess tournament. I have no idea if any of it is cogent, but the nice thing about writing longhand is I’m never tempted to re-read the last  scene. Moving on, that’s the name of the game. I’m behind again, but the notebook has become a permanent extension of my left hand. You’ve heard of wearing your heart on your sleeve? It’s something like that.
