This is a Jalousie window, prized by vintage trailer enthusiasts because it can be open and still keep out the rain. Except in Florida, land of horizontal precipitation.

We spent the better part of the morning drying the green mile of bunk bed slip covers in the Ft. Wilderness laundry. There’s always something new to learn.
