There are three new emergency rooms within five miles of my house. Whether you call them Urgent Care or Doc in the Box, I’m sure they’re handy for those nights when your toddler turns in a circle three times and falls against the fireplace hearth. The quick fix involves a little surgical glue squeezed into the gash on the kid’s head.
Trust me. It happens.
But, I wouldn’t call an ambulance to be transported to a hospital that shares a common wall with The UPS Store and Office Depot. And, I wouldn’t get into an ambulance that looked as old this one, even if it did have a classic car license plate.
